This painting just sold, and ships to a couple in Hillary, Ohio. They also enjoyed the story I wrote about it, they said.

The bear climbed and climbed until he reached the top of the mountain.  A gentle cool wind refreshed him, blowing constantly at his back. The evening sky got larger and larger as he was drawn to the soft flashes of light against the moon now seeming bigger than life. The flashes were indeed fireflies, flying free seeming random yet, lighting his way, all the while. Arriving at the top of the mountian a firefly glowed in his path, greeting him, reflecting lime green against his evening muzzle. The two stood together mesmerized for a moment in wonder.

Laurel, I am packing to move and found a painting in the back of the closet signed Claire Fry 1972, it was purchased at a auction in Washingston State. I Googled the name and you came up so of course I am curious if it is one of your Dad's paintings. I would be happy to snap a picture of it and email it to you, if it is one of his you are sure welcome to have it.
